Copycat.

A copycat (also copy-cat or copy cat) is a person (or animal, or computer program) that mimics or repeats the behavior of another. The expression may derive from kittens that learned by imitating the behaviors of their mothers.

oh, that's from Wikipedia. from my opinion, it is a lack of originality. just do whatever a particular person or group does, without any good reasons. why oh why? just do your own things. dont be a copycat, its annoying....and weird, too. i think a copycat is mimicing a person that he or she takes as a role model or someone whom one adored so much. maybe you don't realise it, i dont know. but at least tell that so-called "role model" of yours that you like what they are doing. tell them that you like the kind of music they usually listen to or the weird pet names they use, for instance. give a compliment, it wont hurt. at least, if you do or listen to the same thing , it seems less freaky, although you're still called a copycat, but al least you are not freaking that person out.
